This was a huge elaboratte prank I pulled on my little brother and I figured, "Hey, why not show it to some other people."

Okay, we were at Mondo's (an italian restaraunt) and my little brother, James, is reading a menu. He likes to point out when he knows something so as he's skimming it, he comes across the item, 'Gorgonzola steak'. "Gorgonzola. Isn't that a type of cheese?" He asks loudly and rhetorically to show to everyone he knows this. So naturally I say, "No, it's a kind of bat." and I insisted that it was a steak made of bat meat. Then it spun into a huge argument which ended in him asking my mom. She told him it was a kind of cheese. I think it would have been funnier if he asked the waiter but he didn't. Not letting it end there, as soon as I got home, I got right to work on a website that said otherwise. The internet is the information superhighway, he'd have to beleive it. So I made this whole website called 'Uncommonly known facts' and went into some huge, random bullcrap rant that discussed how when english was first forming, there was some translation error and Gorgonzola ia actually a type of italian bat. We americans just use the incorrect usage which is much more common, we think it's a kind of cheese. I even threw in a bunch of 3d bar graphs on every page to make it look professional. I showed it to him and he said, "Well, I was right too because it says that in english, it's a kind of cheese." He never suspected a thing. I'm a sneaker little bugger. Well anyway, here's the site if you want to see it. http://uncommonlyknownstuff.tripod.com Hilarious.
